I've probably written about this before. Yeah. I have. So sue me.
Seriously, forgetting things is the story of my life these days. Fur reals. It's pathetic. I remember making fun of my mom because she was so forgetful and I never forgot anything. I am just thankful I don't have to be in school anymore because I'm certain I'd flunk. Heck, I can't even remember why I walked into a room most days. I literally have to go back to where I was, stop, think, and OH YEAH! remember and go back to the room again and complete the task at hand. But yet I'll remember all my orders for my business along with their due-dates, who said what and when, doctors appointments, and my kids' birthdays (phew!). I don't get it.
Pathetic.
I digress...
So yeah. My toddler lurves dolls. And puppies. But mostly "dollies" and it's so stinkin' cute I can hardly stand it. The other night Ella whipped out my old-school toys and started arranging a house for all the {original} little people and furniture. Well Addie found and latched on to this tiny little ugly mermaid. She slept with it. She talked to it all day today - "Are you okay baby? Here you go baby. I feed you baby. I lub you baby" Melt my heart.
See what I mean by tiny?!
I wasn't a doll-lover myself so it really didn't hurt my feelings that Ella used to throw dolls over her shoulder when she looked at them (I was just worried about her nurturing side one day) , but man alive, seeing Addie talk so sweet to her {ugly} mermaids, bears, and dollies, is just too precious. She should pick up quickly that if she's naughty, she should always carry a doll with her and say stuff like "it's okay baby....I lub you baby" because it's gonna be awfully hard for me to disciple that cuteness. :::sigh:::
